"There are much bigger problems in this world than boys who kiss boys and girls who kiss girls." How can you choose the person that you love? How can you fight the person that you are? This is a touching story about a girl who fought for years against her parents, her community and herself. She grew up in a place that told her she couldn't be who she is, she couldn't love who she wants. Many still grow up in places that don't accept who they are. They live in fear and suffer internally and externally... They're constantly verbally abused and in a lot of cases even physically abused.

If you know you are gay but are too afraid to come out, reach out to the LGBTQ community and/or find people you can trust to talk to. There are people out there who can help you, you are not alone. If this story teaches you anything, it's that everything is going to be okay. And things will get better ;)
