Scary Moment When American Luger Emily Sweeney Crashes On Final Run Of The Day -

On Tuesday, a scary scene unfolded at the Winter Olympics when American luger Emily Sweeney suffered a violent crash on her final run of the day. As Sweeney hit the now notorious ninth curve on the lunge track her sled began wobbling out of control before turned completely sideways, and eventually spilling Sweeney from the sled completely. While Sweeney was slow to get back to her feet, she eventually walked off on her own, saying later that she suffered only bumps and bruises. The ninth curve on the luge track has already given several lugers trouble, and falls like Sweeney's will put other lugers and viewers on edge as they approach the turn.
